Do we ever kneel?

No knees on the mat. Ever.

Is this Chair yoga?

No. But I include plenty of standing, seated, and floor options (with modifications), and you’ll always be guided to choose what feels best

is this beginner friendly?

Yes. You don’t need to be flexible or experienced. You just need a body.

What equipment do i need?

A yoga mat is great. A chair, blocks, or a strap can help, but you can absolutely start with what you already have.

do you chant?

Nope. Chanting isn't my jam, but if it is yours, go ahead as long as you are muted. :-)
